Its Alvina I am not to sure if you would remember me, but I was the girl who was on a diet and you encouraged me to eat.
I visited Credit Suisse on the 28th February for the modern muse programme. I wanted to find out more about the opportunities for the graduate programme as I will be taking a gap year therefore going to university next year. So would I have to apply this year or next year of the programme?

It was the international day of Women and Girls in Science recently.

I was so blessed to have been awarded on of the top 100 Women in Tech by WeAreTechWomen. The awards night, where I collected the trophy, was amazing and my daughter came along with me too.

I love this poster it was created by Youth Ambassadors at Alexandra Park school to promote Modern Muse in their school.

20 Jan saw the release of the latest report commissioned by Plan International UK "The State of Girls Rights in the UK 2019-2020" an interesting yet challanging report, well worth a read. Big thanks to all involved with compling and contributing to the report exposing the challanges girls still face in the UK . Here I am with Roya Motalleb-Zadeh a Credit Suisse Muse and Alex Crawford OBE Sky New Foreign Correspondent at the launch.

I'm currently a sixth form student and investigating the career paths into aviation, as I have wanted to become a pilot ever since I first started my careers research. Reading your profile, I see that you have been to university prior to becoming a First Officer - is this something you recommend doing? Are there any current pilot cadet programs at British Airways that I could look into?

To celebrate International Day of the Girl we will be hosting a networking event for students (years 9 – 13), where they will have the chance to come and meet with some of our Modern Muses to find out more about their careers, highlights, goals and challenges in the workplace.

My second graduation to which my 2 year old daughter accompanied me! Again, lots of hardware over a number of years whilst working full-time, being on maternity or looking after a new born!

My first graduation - 3 whole years spent travelling back and forth; working full time and studying 6-9pm ... I met some funny, some peculiar and some great friends!
