Now I am the manager for a team of people who do IT projects, updating the way that customer's run their IT. The work includes being involved in the sales phase and planning how we are going to change the IT all the way to actually changing it. In addition, I continually think about how we can do things better and more efficiently.
I don't have a favourite job because I like working in teams and I always ensure that the teams I work with and in are fun.
Hi, I live in Bristol and am from Ireland. I have 3 children, 2 at university and one who is still at school. I now do a job that did not exist when I was at school, so who knows what you will do when you are my age? I hope you will enjoy it.

Communication, team work, being persistent. Not forgetting to bring chocolates in for the team
I was not afraid to take on a challenge.
I wanted to be an engineer and then I became one. However, after I had children I realised that my life was based on project management - ie being organised. I then realised it would make sense if I got paid for what I was good at and so I moved to working on projects.
Best advice is - always bet on yourself. You know what you can do and step up to do it.
