Current Role as it's so diverse
I am an ambitious, professional and organised individual with solid Change Management experience gained within the telecoms sector. I have worked for the same company for a number of years, which has allowed me to carry out a multitude of operational and leadership roles. I have been given the opportunity to go on secondments to different teams, which is a useful mechanism to see if you are suited to a role before you sign on the dotted line – I quickly learnt that the role of a firewall technician was not for me! My current role allows a good work life balance which is very important for me with two young children.
Research career options in full, choose a company that works for you and suits your character - remember we spend half our lives at work, so the people you work with are just as important as the job itself.

I loved Psychology. People interest me!

Communication, Negotiation, Influencing
I have attended a number of courses which has helped to develop me personally. I am currently working towards my ITIL expert certification in Service Management.
I never really knew what I wanted to do when I left school, so I decided on a broad course in Tourism and Business.
I would have done a lot more research into possible careers, there’s a lot of resources available to help you do this. I’ve learnt that it’s a lot easier to study when you are younger without the worries of a mortgage and children to support.
