My current one! It is varied, I get to work with lots of different people at different levels throughout the business, it is fast paced and I learn something new everyday!
I am a mummy first and foremost to the loveliest 6 year old girl (and Golden Retriever pup!). I am married 10 years and I am working almost 23 years!
I enjoyed my early 20's living and working in Spain before coming home and working in some temporary roles before starting with British Airways. I loved dealing with customers and selling holidays to them (and I really enjoyed the staff travel perks!) but sadly the offices in Belfast closed, leading me to property sales for a short time before I discovered recruitment.
I had a great career with Randstad, working almost 8 years there however, shortly after returning from maternity leave, I decided it was time for a change.
I am now working at AMS and feel I have finally found my home. The clients, candidates and people (internal and external) I work with, the variety of work / projects and opportunities for progression keep me driven and motivated every day.

You can't know everything about everything! Find out who does know and ask questions.
Get involved in different projects - this will give you exposure to other areas of the business, to other people you might not otherwise have the opportunity to work with and allow you to develop - and follow through on your commitments.

I had no idea! I liked languages but didn't know what else I could do with them other than teach - and I didn't want to teach! I went to University and spent 2 years in Spain - now I don't use my languages at all.
I had very limited advice or guidance and my choice to study languages was quite restrictive so if I could do it all again, I would opt to do a language with Business - I think this would have helped get me to my destination sooner.
