I loved reading and history. At College and Uni I really enjoyed business studies, especially the HR part - people are fascinating! I didn't enjoy accounting or logistics.
I wish I had done more in terms of psychology or sociology as it's very relevant to what I do now and I find it very interesting.

Communication - I have to deal with people internal and external at all levels.
Strategic & Creative thinking - to pull together a long term plan for the function and problem solve when faced with challenges.
Great customer service - to be aware of and exceed the expectations of our internal and external customers.
An interpreter but I never did that great at languages so then I wanted to do something in "business" even though I didn't really know what!
Get some expertise outside of the HR field to broaden my commercial experience.
