My current job because it allows me to do what is important to me
I’m self-confessed geek and a boomeranger on my second stint with AMS (left the first time to have a family and run my own successful business). I have 20 years’ experience in HR and Recruitment, and was the youngest person to attain Chartered CIPD membership in UK & Ireland.
My proudest accomplishment is owning a Blue Peter badge!
Outside of work, I’m a busy mum of two (my son is 13 and my daughter is 10) and a carer for my husband, who has a degenerative condition.
My faith is central to my life and I volunteer twice a week.
I hold two pieces of advice close to my heart:
1) Treat others how you would like to be treated; and
2) You can’t always change your circumstances, but you can always change your perspective

I loved Maths, Sciences and Art. I disliked Geography (but I think that had more to do with the teacher than the subject!)

Tenacity, perseverance, curiosity, creativity
Mentoring from others is the best way to learn; I've also developed my skills by studying while working. I find the combination of practical and theory works best for me.
I wanted to be an archaeologist (Indiana Jones!)
Have more confidence in myself!
