I worked at Situations Recruitment Agency for 5 years focussing on temp, contract and permanent recruitment for the Finance Sector in Guernsey.
I recruit for support office functions such as Aviation, Creative and some areas of Marketing.
My current role at Specsavers as each piece of recruitment I work on is like a project in its own right. Its great to understand more about each role and when I find some great candidates who successfully complete the process, it's great to see them join us and flourish in their new role.
I have worked for Specsavers in Guernsey since 2001 in a variety of role, all within Human Resources. I started in an administrative role, progressing to HR Manager for our Finance function then moving into the Resourcing team in 2009.
Outside of work I am Mum to two amazing girls, am married to Jason and have two super cute Cockapoos!
Living in Guernsey, I enjoy a short commute to the office (although am able to work from home when required) and am able to manage a good work/life balance.


Organsiation and communication skills are really important in my role, and always has been. The ability to juggle different roles is also key to succeeding!
I learn best in an environment when I can learn from and bounce off of others. I have progressed and developed my skills by experience rather than study.
