I am a mum of twins, the captain of a netball team and I enjoy running and being active. I have spent a lot of years finding my path and I'm learning new things about life and myself every day.

I have set myself goals in both my personal life and my career and am working towards these all the time, whilst enjoying a balanced, happy life with my family.

I am a positive, caring and compassionate individual and I love to do things that make a difference to others. That gives me motivation and fulfillment. I like to take on challenges and raise money for various charities. This year I have run 'MyMarathon' for the British Heart Foundation and had 13 inches of hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust.

Opportunity doesn’t often fall into your lap, we need to allow ourselves to say yes more often. If something is wildly out of your personal comfort zone, ask yourself, what is the worst that could happen? If you make a quick decision that it’s not for you, you will sit back and watch others take those chances. One barrier can be a lack of self-confidence.
Having that confidence to say yes is a muscle that you can exercise and build up, it is not something we are born with, it is something that can be learnt. Small steps and pushing boundaries of comfort a little at a time has brought me from barely being able to introduce myself in meetings when I first started on my career path, to now regularly presenting to an audience. This is an ongoing journey, step by step, little yeses and small personal achievements build to bigger things over time.

Problem Solving

I wanted to be creative, something in design. I now design cakes as a hobby and utilise creative, problem solving skills in my working roles.

I would have progressed to college. With determination and hard work, I have been able to overcome my lack of early education qualifications.
