I first started my journey within Project Management with an Internship at Deutsche Telekom in the UK. When the opportunity came up after I graduated from university. The plan was to stay in London for 3 months and learn something about Project Management - I was living in Berlin at that time.
I was offered a position within Project Management Excellence in the UK first - so I stayed for 1 year and 9 months. Afterwards I moved to Bonn, Germany to continue my work there - exciting new opportunity.
Back again to the UK, I started a role within PMO at T-Systems. I was leading a team of three and was responsible for Governance and reporting of projects for our customer EE (Everything Everywhere).
Responsible for PMO Management (Governance & Reporting), Resource Management (allocating right resources to projects) and Project Managers within the Project Delivery Unit.
My name is Senait and I was born and grew up in a small town in West Germany and studied Business Economics in Hanover, Germany. I was always interested in Sciences but never knew which direction I wanted to go - so I took the opportunity to look into Project Management and created my career path since then.

Keep an open mind-set - be curious to develop your skills but also look into new areas and learn something new you are interested in.
When I was in primary school, I wanted to become a lawyer...
In secondary school, I could tell which subjects were my favourite (e.g. maths and sports) but I also liked to be creative so I was dreaming of becoming an architect or interior designer.
At Uni, I followed up with what I liked in school - Sciences. Then I asked myself what I am good at and what do I do naturally: Organising, Planning, Managing... So I became curious and looked into Project Management...
Have more self-confidence and try out things earlier. Don't wait for anyone to guide you - follow your dreams!
Don't sell yourself short - find out what you are good at and have confidence.
