Hello! And welcome to the world of People, Pets and Vets…

Established in 2001, The Pets At Home Vet Group provide management services to their network of small animal veterinary practices across the UK.

When someone joins our group as a joint venture partner, they become the local owner of their own practice, whilst we at the support office give them all the business assistance they need to help run it. Our partners have complete clinical freedom to run their practice in their own way. It’s a unique approach to working together, and at the heart of the relationship, we are always committed to putting pets first.

With over 400 practices (and growing!), we are now the largest Veterinary Group in the UK.  We are proud of our Vets4Pets and Companion Care brands,  both of which are well loved and respected within local pet communities.

It's all about our people...

Being an amazing place to work is a top priority and we're truly obsessed with this! In a fast-paced business like ours, everyone works extremely hard to be the best at what do. Creating the right environment so our colleagues enjoy coming to work, to continually learn and grow, to make friends, to proactively think about wellbeing and to have fun is what we believe will make us successful over anything else.

In fact, we have 6 core values that we live and breathe each and every day......

We Put Pets First,  We Have Fun,  We Work As A Team,  We Take Pride In What We Do,  We Get Better Every Day  and  We Do What We Say We Will Do

We have a passion for pets

For our veterinary surgeons, nurses, care assistants,  practice managers and receptionists, putting pets first really is their passion and vocation..... And it's exactly the same for our colleagues at The Support Office!  Commercial decisions, training plans and marketing messages all happen with this in mind.

93% of our group colleagues own pets and during a normal week as Support Office, we have 34 four-legged friends coming to work with us....it's pretty safe to say we're very pet-friendly!
